Silent Treatment

An amazing experience today with taking a silent vow from sunrise until dinner. It was amazing how conscious I was about things I wanted to say, but couldn't. The entire day was spent listening to family, songs, nature, and reading. My children had the most interesting reactions to quiet Dad. Emily just never understood why I wasn't speaking. Learned much, ready for my next one...but not tomorrow.
